PROTEIN ICE CREAM

I literally make this recipe almost every night. It has loads of protein, tastes like ice cream and fills a huge bowl to the brim! I usually add some multigrain cheerios, or a rice cake crumble it on top to add some crunch. I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients  ● ¼ cup low fat cottage cheese  ● ¾ cup almond milk  ● 1 scoop protein powder (I use Isopure protein powder)  ● ½ tsp xanthum gum  ● 5-6 ice cubes  Directions  Blend all the ingredients together and let it blend until it expands to your preference.  The key to this recipe is the  xanthum  gum. It is what causes the mixture to grow and have the texture of ice cream. You don’t have to use  Isopure  protein powder but I have found it tastes the best for my ice cream.  I also use a  NutriBullet . It is easy to clean and has a powerful engine!
